On Injustice 2 I've led the internal creative team at NetherRealm Studios for all Social Media assets. For the launch campaign we've worked together with AKQA, from planning and strategy to creative and execution of some pieces.
As for social media strategy we wanted to engage with DC fans and fighting games fans in a relevant informative way, but not losing the fun and shareable aspect of it. To achieve this we've worked on a few different fronts. Letting fans decide de next challenge in-game, covering e-sports tournaments and giving voice to the players, and making things fun and surprising are some examples. As result we had the most engaging social media page of NetherRealm Studios at the time, reaching over 1M followers on Facebook.
